Meet the driving force behind Upstate Bug Busters, Blake Mahieu. At just 19 years old, Blake is a remarkable example of hard work and dedication. A Christian Brothers Academy graduate, he was ranked as a Captain and worked tirelessly at his position as public affairs officer. Through the JROTC program he has learned a variety of life long qualities such as discipline, leadership and honesty. At the age of 11 Blake started a landscaping business mowing lawns for his next door neighbors which quickly grew into a successful landscaping business. He's not your typical business owner – he's passionate about creating a relationship with every customer that extends past business. Blake wants to make sure you are 100% satisfied with his companies work. 

Blake has a deep appreciation for the outdoors. Whether he's outside enjoying time with his family or spending quality time with friends, he understands the need for a bug-free environment an all natural way. His love for nature drives his commitment to providing a 5 star outdoor pest control service.

When he's not working tirelessly to protect your yard from bugs, Blake can be found spending quality time with his loved ones. He's particularly fond of his loyal companion, Stella, his beloved dog. Blake believes that outdoor spaces should be enjoyed with family and friends, and he's determined to make that a reality for you.

Blake's dedication to helping others extends beyond his business. He's a volunteer firefighter, always ready to lend a hand in his community. When he's not helping in the community you might find him racing motocross or snowmobiling, or perhaps cruising on the water in his boat. Adventure and a love for life are at the core of who he is.
